302 Rooms, 92 Suites, Six Rulers Suites reserved solely for Royalty, Large Conference Centre, Auditorium for 1100 and over 40 Meeting rooms.

The Emirates Palace, built as a landmark showcasing Arabian culture, is a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It describes itself as going “beyond 5 star” being a palace instead of just a hotel. The cost to build the hotel was about 3 billion USD. The Emirates Palace is the second most expensive hotel ever built only surpassed by Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

The hotel has 302 rooms and 92 suites spread over two wings and a main central building. Many of the suites offered are furnished in gold and marble. The main central building houses an expansive marble floor and a large patterned dome above, picked out in gold. The topmost floor has six Rulers’ Suites, which are reserved solely for royalty and dignitaries. The hotel also contains a large conference centre with an auditorium capacity of 1100, in addition to over 40 meeting rooms and six large terraces.

Outdoor facilities include two outdoor pools, tennis courts, cricket, a rugby pitch and soccer facilities.

Responsibility

FEBC was appointed as the FF&E and OS&E Procurement Management Consultant to work with the Owner Representatives, Interior Designers, Contractors, Consultants and the Hotel Operator to source, select, quote and purchase all the FF&E and OS&E for the hotel following the guidelines provided by the Designers and the Hotel Brand specifications and to manage and follow on every aspect from the production, payment process, shipments and clearance to the supervision of installations and handing over including inspection of goods during production and prior to shipment.
All the production of the wooden furniture has been awarded to FSC certified manufacturers.
