febc are delighted to have successfully completed the delivery and handover of the Radisson Blu in Andermatt, Switzerland. The hotel officially opened in Q4-2018. This unique hotel was designed in a modern interpretation of a Swiss chalet. at an altitude of 1,444 meters, this hotel is the perfect destination for nature lovers.
The scope of work consisted of total of 279 Keys comprising of 179 hotel guestrooms and 100 serviced apartments. There are several F&B oulets other guest facilities split between the hotel and residences. febc was engaged for supply, handover and installation for all the guest rooms, apartments and public areas. Our team studied in detail the specification packages and interior design drawings issued. Soon after we engaged suppliers and manufacturers that we believed fit and match the look and feel of the project, while keeping in mind the goal of providing our clients with cost-effective products.
Founded in 1909, The BESIX Group is a highly successful company, with a leading position in construction, property development and concessions. BESIX, in joint venture with partner Andermatt Swiss Alps AG, constructed the Hotel & Residences in Andermatt, Switzerland.
Radisson Blu is an international chain of hotels operated by Radisson Hotels. With roots dating back to the 1960s, the Radisson Blu brand name came into existence in 2009.

febc faced challenges during the different phases of the project:
1.Working with a high quality design package. febc managed to collabo-rate effectively with the interior designer and client to maintain the design intent whilst still saving the client substantially on their initial budget.
2.There were technical challenges with respect to the delivery and installation of all goods. The febc team deployed experienced site managers who were up to the task and managed site coordination effectively.
The febc team worked exceptionally hard to deliver and meet the client’s goals. With it’s extensive network of suppliers and expansive knowledge in the hotel sector, febc managed to achieve budget savings and deliver all goods within the requested lead-time, effectively exceeding the clients expectations.
