‘I can confirm that during the project febc have always acted professionally, actively supporting the hotel management to effectively finalize the pre-opening procurement activities, they procured items of good quality and durability. We have no hesitation in recommending them for other projects.’

Scope and Deliverables

febc was contracted for the Procurement Management Consultancy of FF&E and OS&E. The team thoroughly checked in detail the FF&E specification packages, architectural layouts and interior design drawings issued by dsgn™. Soon after febc engaged a number of suppliers and manufacturers from different parts of the world to obtain the best possible quality and savings for the client. This included regular trips with the client to factories to conduct value engineering with the intention to reduce costs further without affecting the design integrity. The client was delighted with the outcome of these trips.

Challenges

The febc team worked exceptionally hard to deliver and meet the client’s goals. With our extensive network of suppliers and expansive knowledge in hotel procurement we managed to substatially reduce the clients total budget. Even though the client did not express a sustainability concern, all the production of the wooden furniture has been awarded to FSC certified manufacturers.

febc has managed to keep all the production on the European side with a maximization of the savings assessed at 22%.
